Favorites From September

Friday, October 4, 2013

Happy Friday, everyone! It's snowing right now in Highlands Ranch. Yes. I'm actually loving it, although I always hated snow when I lived here, haha. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, I suppose. Today I'm sharing my favorites from around the web for the month of September!

{1}This kitchen makeover from one of my favorite blogs is just amazing in every way. I am still astonished that most of it was done with paint!

{2} I love all of the natural elements in these vintage fall mantels. Great blog too!

{3} I have a Christmas version of this stove top potpourri that I love, but I am excited to try out the fall version.

{4}  This adorable bow-themed birthday makes me kind of wish I had a little girl to copy it for.

{5} Here's a great blog for kiddo activities and I really want to do this glow-in-the-dark bath water.

{6} I'm going to make some of these zinc letters for the laundry room.

{7} We went to H&M the other day and I want to go back and get these comfy pants.

What links are you loving from the past few weeks? Have a great weekend!

Favorites from August

Friday, August 30, 2013

There is so much inspiration and good information available through Pinterest and blogs these days, so I thought I would share a few of my favorites I've seen around the web in August.

1// I am so inspired by this oversized art print and found it on with this new-to-me website.
2// If I had a little girl in school, she would be getting this backpack. You can flip it back and forth for a new look! So sweet.
3// And once Parker is in school, I will seriously "encourage" him to want this superhero backpack, complete with a cape!

4// Ready or not, Christmas will be here before we know it (!), and I've already got my eye on this free printable that looks like Santa's personal stationery.
5// This no-sew pleated curtain tutorial is seriously genius. I love easy projects like this that look high-style.
6// Need a place to put your iPhone while you run? I do. This DIY running belt is cute and looks pretty simple.
7// Dollar-store table cloths turned into a streamer backdrop? And I've found the decor for Parker's 2nd birthday party! Thank you very much.

8// Ever wondered how to set a formal place setting? Here you go. Cute blog, too!

Have an amazing weekend!

Favorites From July

Saturday, July 27, 2013

Since July is ending (a little too quickly, in my opinion), I thought I would share a few of my favorite things I've seen around the web in the last month.

1//  I love this beautiful laundry room from Little Green Notebook. She made this over on a super tight budget and with pretty much nothing but paint. Ah, the power of paint. I also LOVE her new house! Can't wait to watch Jenny decorate.

2//  I just (like yesterday) discovered the website, Keep. And I am obsessed. It's like Pinterest but for things you want to buy or save for. Talk about helping my brain out when I'm trying to compare items that I want to buy online.

I found these lovely measuring bowls from West Elm on Keep. Wouldn't they be fun to display on open shelving in my new kitchen? I've been so into kitchen pretties lately.

3//  I also love this necklace. Not that I have much to wear it to anymore, but it would be great for date night or church.

4//  I've had two of these raglan tees from Gap in my shopping cart for the last month, and then I saw this girl wearing one of them, and it basically sealed the deal for me. I must have them.

5//  I love going through blog archives of my favorite blogs, and lately I have really been enjoying the Good Design - Kids in Mind series from 6th Street Design School. I've read almost every post! Perfect for the anti-tacky-toy-but-I-still-love-my-kid OCD freak like me.

Have a great weekend!
